Battle Of The DJ’s 2
On the 16th December
the battle of the DJ’s part 2 was taking place at the Braintree institute. When we all arrived (DJ Dan D, DJ Jay
G and myself) sound checks were on the way. Everything was set up at it was looking solid. Whilst DJ Jay G and I were taking
in the atmosphere, DJ Dan D was checking it out backstage. The first DJ was DJ Little Mischief, who was fantastic, her
mixin’ was insane. It was a really bizarre experience for me as this was my first one I’ve been to, but it defiantly
will not be the last! I got to know most of the DJ’S and MC’S there. As more and more people arrived, the atmosphere
was increasing. When Josh and Christine turned up, we got the drinks in and got down to those massive beats like everyone
else. The main man, DJ Dan D was up next, although we didn’t have time to wish him good luck, he certainly didn’t
need it! He kept his cool, and it showed. Everyone was lovin’ it at this
point. More DJ’S arrived for there set. DJ Jay G and I went backstage at this point to take a closer look and take pictures.
Everyone was buzzing, it was extravagant. DJ Dan D was lovin’ it up there, and so was everybody else. Each and every
person was getting down to the mixing of Drum n Bass from DJ Dan D. For those who missed this night are fools! Overall it
was an incredible night and everyone enjoyed themselves. Plus all the other DJ's and MC's where top class as expected and
DJ Zen completly Blew It Up. Big it up to Drum n Bass! Written By Laura Pictures and Videos By DJ Jay G

The Prodigy's
Last Tour
It had been planned for months before as no one outside of braintree were allowed to know the
prodigy were ending there last tour right where they started. Lucky for me i have in side contacts and managed to pick myself
up a nice ticket stamped prodigy Thursday 8th December 2005. So before hand obviously me and me mate decided to have a couple
of beers. Then we set of to what we knew would be a life changing experience. When we arrived there the audio bulleys were
kickin out some mean mental remixes to warm up the crowd at this point me and my mate were sittin at the back. We both looked
at each other and said we dont wanna be here we wanna be at the front, jumpin up and down like those other ravin looneys.
So we did and then to annoy us they put a rock band that i believe no one ever heard of which dampned evey ones spirits. Luckily
they brought the audio bulleys back on for 10 mins. Then bam The Prodigy every one loved it. It was like one big rave all
night we were bouncin and ravin. unfortunatly i got told no camera equipment an i didnt want to sneak one in as i asumed we'd
be searched but nope we wernt. But it was mental as my mate said i quote "charly says dont start fire u twisted fire starter
otherwise the voodo people will smack your bitch up and send u at hyper speed to outta space". Best nite of me life. MUCH
RESPECT TO THE PRODIGY. P.S Kieth Looked At Me!
